Cutting Through the Fine Print
We know you're excited to put your TIMBAR to work. This policy explains how preorders, shipping estimates and deliveries are handled, along with what happens if something doesn't go according to plan.
1. Overview
Thank you for choosing TIMBAR.
This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped and delivered by Timbar Technologies Corp. ("TIMBAR", "we", "our", or "us").
This policy applies to all purchases made through our websites and should be read together with our Website Terms & Conditions, Returns & Refund Policy and Warranty Policy.
2. Order Processing
Orders are generally processed in the order they are received.
Processing times may vary depending on:
- product availability;
- preorder status;
- payment verification;
- inventory transfers;
- holidays;
- weather events;
- carrier schedules; and
- other operational considerations.
Submitting an order does not guarantee immediate shipment.
3. Preorders
Certain TIMBAR products may be offered as preorder items.
Estimated shipping dates are provided for planning purposes only and are not guaranteed.
Production schedules, supplier timelines, customs processing, transportation availability, labour disruptions and other factors outside of our control may affect delivery dates.
We appreciate your patience and will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of significant delays.
4. Preorder Cancellations
Customers may request cancellation of a preorder at any time prior to shipment.
Once an order has entered the fulfillment process or has been transferred to a shipping carrier, it can no longer be cancelled and will be subject to our Returns & Refund Policy.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
5. Shipping Destinations
TIMBAR currently ships to Canada, the United States and select international destinations.
Shipping availability may change without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel shipments to jurisdictions where shipping is unavailable, impractical or prohibited by law.
6. Shipping Carriers
TIMBAR selects shipping carriers at its discretion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Carrier selection may vary depending on:
- destination;
- package size;
- service level;
- warehouse location; or
- operational requirements.
7. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery estimates provided during checkout or elsewhere on the Website are estimates only.
TIMBAR does not guarantee delivery dates.
Unexpected delays may occur due to:
- weather;
- customs inspections;
- transportation disruptions;
- labour disputes;
- holidays;
- carrier delays;
- natural disasters;
- government actions; or
- other events beyond our reasonable control.
TIMBAR is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances outside our control.
8. Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
TIMBAR is not responsible for delays, additional charges or failed deliveries resulting from:
- incorrect addresses;
- incomplete addresses;
- customer input errors; or
- failure to accept delivery.
If an order has not yet shipped, we will make reasonable efforts to update the shipping address upon request but cannot guarantee changes.
9. Risk of Loss
TIMBAR is responsible for the product until it is delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the shipping carrier.
If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit before delivery, TIMBAR will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, refund or other reasonable resolution at our discretion.
If a carrier confirms that a shipment has been delivered but the customer reports it as missing, TIMBAR will investigate the matter with the carrier before determining an appropriate resolution. Customers may be asked to cooperate with the investigation and provide additional information.
10. Tracking Information
Where available, tracking information will be provided after shipment.
Tracking updates are generated by third-party carriers and may not always reflect real-time package status.
11. Lost, Missing or Delayed Shipments
If a shipment appears delayed or cannot be located, customers should contact TIMBAR as soon as reasonably possible.
If a carrier indicates that a package has been delivered but the customer reports it as missing, TIMBAR will work with the carrier to investigate the shipment before determining an appropriate resolution.
Replacement products or refunds are not guaranteed until the investigation has been completed.
Customers may be asked to cooperate with carrier investigations or provide additional information.
12. Refused Shipments
If a shipment is refused by the customer or returned because delivery could not be completed, TIMBAR may deduct:
- original shipping costs;
- return shipping charges;
- customs or brokerage charges;
- carrier fees; and
- any other costs incurred
before issuing any applicable refund.
13. International Orders
International customers are responsible for ensuring that TIMBAR products may be legally imported into their jurisdiction.
Except where otherwise stated at checkout, customers are responsible for:
- customs duties;
- import taxes;
- brokerage fees;
- tariffs;
- value added taxes (VAT);
- government assessments; and
- other import-related charges.
Failure to pay required import charges may result in returned or abandoned shipments.
14. United States Orders
For shipments to the United States, duties, tariffs and applicable import charges will be handled in accordance with the shipping method and checkout process in effect at the time of purchase.
Customers should review their order summary before completing their purchase.
15. Partial Shipments
TIMBAR may fulfill orders in multiple shipments when operationally necessary.
Partial shipments do not entitle customers to cancellation or refund of the remaining items.
Additional shipping charges will not be applied unless disclosed prior to shipment.
16. Product Availability
Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain inventory accuracy, products may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed.
If this occurs, TIMBAR may:
- delay shipment;
- offer an alternative product;
- partially fulfill the order; or
- cancel the unavailable portion of the order and issue an appropriate refund.
17. Product Inspection
Customers should inspect their shipment promptly upon delivery.
Any visible shipping damage, missing items or incorrect products should be reported to TIMBAR within a reasonable period after receipt.
Prompt reporting improves our ability to investigate carrier claims and resolve issues efficiently.
18. Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)
TIMBAR is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- supplier delays;
- manufacturing interruptions;
- transportation disruptions;
- customs inspections;
- labour disputes;
- natural disasters;
- pandemics;
- cyber incidents;
- utility failures;
- weather events; or
- government actions.
Delivery dates affected by these events shall be extended for the duration of the disruption.
19. Policy Updates
TIMBAR may update this Shipping Policy from time to time.
The version posted on the Website at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
