Refund policy
Version: 1.0

Cutting Through the Fine Print
We hope every TIMBAR finds a permanent home on the end of a pole saw.
If something isn't what you expected, we'll always do our best to help. This policy explains when a product may be returned, how refunds are handled and when a warranty claim is the better path.
1. Overview
This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through TIMBAR websites operated by Timbar Technologies Corp.
It should be read together with our Website Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy and Warranty Policy.
2. Change of Mind
Because TIMBAR products are designed for outdoor work and powered equipment, we are currently unable to accept returns for products that have been installed, used or show signs of use.
If your TIMBAR has been used and you believe there is a manufacturing defect, please refer to our Warranty Policy.
3. Unshipped Preorders
Preorder purchases may be cancelled at any time before the order enters the fulfillment process or is transferred to a shipping carrier.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
4. Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If you receive:
- the wrong product;
- an incomplete order; or
- a product that appears to have been damaged during shipping,
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
To help us investigate and resolve the issue, we may ask for:
- your order number;
- photographs of the product and packaging;
- a description of the issue; and
- any other relevant information.
5. Products That Cannot Be Returned
Unless required by applicable law, we cannot accept returns for:
- products that have been installed or used;
- products showing signs of misuse, modification or abuse;
- products damaged after delivery;
- products missing original components; or
- products returned outside of an approved return process.
6. Manufacturing Defects
If you believe your TIMBAR has a manufacturing defect, we encourage you to contact us.
Many issues can be resolved quickly through troubleshooting or replacement parts without returning the entire product.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, your claim will be handled under our Warranty Policy.
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase.
Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.
8. Refused Shipments
If an order is refused by the customer or returned because delivery could not be completed, TIMBAR may deduct:
- original shipping charges;
- return shipping costs;
- customs or brokerage fees;
- carrier charges; and
- other reasonable costs incurred
before issuing any applicable refund.
9. International Orders
Import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees and similar government charges are generally non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for understanding the import requirements of their own jurisdiction before placing an order.
10. Our Goal
We build tools to be used, not admired from a shelf.
If something isn't right, we'd much rather have a conversation than point to a policy. While we need guidelines to keep things fair for everyone, we'll always do our best to find a reasonable solution.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
Questions?
We'd much rather answer a question today than solve a misunderstanding tomorrow.
